DESTINY'S CREATION

Several years back on that day,
When this earth heard your first cry,
You were a darling in every way,
Soaring our spirits sky high.

Dreams we did weave around you,
Day by day as you grew,
And today its time you knew,
Whether you did fulfill a few.

Deep into your heart you also did fill,
Choicest dreams that you did treasure,
And worked on these with all your will,
Seeing failure and success in varied measure.

Let your mind’s imagination soar,
Breeding it with selfless ideas, all fresh and pure,
To break open ego’s impregnable door,
And serve the mortals in need, both far and near.

The world will then, find happiness in your progress,
And life will give you its very very best.
The support and motivation for your success,
Will be showered by destiny with all zest.

May your deeds prove valuable to this earth,
Taking you to heights scaled by a select few,
And we would for sure take pride in your birth,
Seeing the world bow to a phenomenon like you.

THE BEAUTY OF TREES - A SPLASH OF COLOUR

In 2007 while at Renton, Washington, USA, I was returning home pretty late and after sunset, for the whole week from work.

When I stepped out to play with my friends on the following Saturday, the colour of the trees close to our apartment really left me standing. Lavender is a colour I love, and a few trees were full of that colour.
With the lush green ground and few colourful flowers close by, you can see these trees in the distance.

SHADES OF GOLD AFTER A DAY OF SNOW

I took multiple shots of this scene with my Canon S1 1S in auto focus. All the snaps were hazy when I got them out, except this one, and I really love it for the shades of golden yellow in it. We had a good snow shower in Renton, Washington State, USA the previous night. And this shot was taken exactly after a day went by, when the snow hardens into ice on the road and tyre tracks of vehicles also leave their impressions on the road. The glaze shimmering in the street lamps looked so nice. I did walk a long way and spotted this by accident. Hope you will enjoy....

ATOP THE SPACE NEEDLE

I shot these pictures while on a visit to Seattle Downtown. We went up the Space Needle and had a this beautiful view. What you see below is the stadium where the famous Seattle Sea Hawks play American football.

The Washington Mutual and Bank of America buildings are some of the few buildings that you see below.

I also managed to take this show right below us. This is the science museum with its wonderful joy rides. I did not want to take the risk of putting the camera through the bars that you see below.
