Just a bunch of buildings constructed by the British remain in Chennai and this church is one of them. The St.Mary's Orthodox Church at Chetpet is one of the few red brick architectural pieces that remain.
There's something special about being antique, being not modern. It comes with a certain aura not seen in the splashing urban splendour of modern architecture.
